Modern Ag Alliance Commends Advancement of Bipartisan Farm Bill 

At a time of significant economic strain across rural America, farmers need certainty and stability more than ever. The Farm Bill advanced by the House Agriculture Committee—with bipartisan support—delivers an important step toward that goal.

The legislation includes critical language reaffirming EPA’s science-based authority over pesticide labeling, helping ensure regulatory clarity and consistency nationwide. This much-needed provision protects farmers’ continued access to essential crop protection tools and gives growers the confidence they need to plan, invest, and operate in an increasingly challenging environment.

The Modern Ag Alliance commends House Agriculture Chairman GT Thompson and Committee members on both sides of the aisle for advancing this bipartisan legislation. We urge Speaker Mike Johnson to bring it to the House floor quickly so farmers and the consumers who rely on them have the stability and clarity they deserve.
