Stronger Together: The Partners Powering the Modern Ag Alliance

As farmers across the country spend long summer days in the field, this season offers an opportunity to reflect on the momentum the Modern Ag Alliance and our partners have built together in recent months.

MAA’s strength comes from the more than 115 agricultural organizations that make up our coalition. Representing different crops and commodities, regions and communities, our partners are united by a shared commitment to supporting agriculture and protecting continued access to the crop protection technologies.

That work is especially important at a time when farmers face rising operating costs, tightening margins and continued uncertainty. MAA’s 2026 State of the American Farmer report found that only about half of farmers expected to be profitable in the past year—and that eight in ten believe farmers should be consulted on regulatory decisions that directly affect their operations.

Throughout the year, MAA partners have helped bring that firsthand experience into conversations with policymakers and the public. In Kentucky, for example, a coalition of 14 agricultural and business organizations helped champion legislation providing farmers with greater certainty around the crop protection tools they use. The coalition brought together voices representing corn, soybeans, livestock, forestry, agricultural retailers and other essential parts of the state’s agricultural economy. That is the value of partnership and collaboration: bringing together organizations with different perspectives and areas of expertise around the needs shared by farmers across the country. Whether they are engaging policymakers, sharing research, elevating farmers’ stories or helping the public better understand modern agriculture, MAA partners make the coalition’s success possible.

As the strawberries ripen in Florida, the corn tassels in Illinois, and wheat harvest kicks off in Montana, we are proud to work alongside organizations that show up every day for the farmers who feed, fuel and clothe the country.
